Another old one, I haven't had a chance to take any new pics the past week or so. I took this one in Amarillo, right outside of Palo Duro Canyon , see previous post. This is a real Texas Longhorn.

Palo Duro Canyon

This was taken at Palo Duro Canyon close to where I grew up. I took this last year when I was there visiting family. There is something about a Texas scene that is so comforting to me. I feel like I am home just looking at it.

Feeling uninspired today

I tried to take a few pictures today and nothing turned out like I wanted and I couldn't find anything else to take pictures of so here is an old one.
I took this shot in Cloudcroft NM when we took the kids up to do some sledding. I took this shot with my 35mm and scanned the pic later. I love how the light made the neat effect across the pic, don't know how I did it though lol.

One from a while back

I love this picture and I just had to share it. This is a pic of my girls taken in their Easter dresses, I played with it in Photoshop and created a B&W, and a Sepia of the same shot.

What have I done?

I have been bustin my butt keeping up with NaBloPoMo and now what do I do..... go start a new blog project! I must be crazy! I found this blog and thought it would be a good way to get my picture taking juices flowing again. I have been slacking on my picture taking lately so here goes nothing!

This is my first entry, my dog Dallas. There probally wont be many pictures of him because he wont stand still for very long lol. I had to take this one while he was eating, it was the only time he isnt running around.
